Research Peptides SA, or RPSA (researchpeptides.co.za (opens in new tab)), claims the longest track record of any vendor we've checked — but it turns out to be the same legal entity as another vendor in this list, undisclosed to shoppers on either site.
What we verified directly
- "Trading since 2006" — with an internal inconsistency (2026-09-06). The homepage states: "Since 2006, we have been consistently selling peptides online... for the past 20 years." Its own /product-category/buy-peptides page, however, says "over 15 years experience" — two different tenure claims on the same site (2006 to now is actually ~20 years). This is the vendor's own claim either way, not third-party audited.
- In-house testing. "Purity levels of 97% and above, which are thoroughly tested and certified in-house," with in-house testing for "heavy metals, toxins and consistency."
- COA on request. "COA documents can be requested for items as needed. These are renewed bi-annually."
- Shipping & payment. Postnet or door-to-door courier; EFT, Visa and Mastercard via PayFlex — confirmed again on its /terms-and-conditions page: "Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT's) from all major banks... also accept Visa and Mastercard Payments using the PayFlex Gateway."
- Written refund policy. Its own /terms/ page states dispatched products "can not be resold or exchanged," even if unopened, with exceptions for incorrect/damaged orders (must be reported on the delivery date with photo evidence) — restrictive, but a real, specific policy, not silence.
- A genuinely large, fully priced catalog. Its own product-category pages show 102 products across 9 listing pages, each with an exact, VAT-labeled price — from single peptides (e.g. AOD 9604 2mg R450, ACTH 1-39 2mg R400) to peptide blends (e.g. BPC-157/TB-500 10mg blend R1,900, KLOW Peptide R3,150). This is the widest catalog we've confirmed for any vendor in our set.
- Phone/WhatsApp contact. 060 997 4604, alongside an obscured email link, on its /contact-us page. Re-checked 2026-09-06: this exact number also appears on Buy Peptides SA's own /faq/ page — but as Buy Peptides SA's secondary "bulk order" WhatsApp line, not its primary support number. So the overlap is real but partial: RPSA's main contact number matches one of Buy Peptides SA's two published numbers, not a single shared line between all three sites.
Where it loses points
- No third-party testing. All quality testing described is in-house; no external lab is named anywhere.
- No registration number, VAT number, or street address published — checked specifically across its /contact-us, /terms-and-conditions and /disclaimer pages, none of which carry it.
- Undisclosed sibling brand (see above) — a real transparency deduction, not a hedge.

Bottom line
A claimed two-decade history, a genuinely huge and fully priced catalog, and a real (if in-house) testing process add up to a solid overall score — but running an undisclosed sibling storefront is the kind of thing our transparency criterion exists to catch, and it caps how high this vendor can rank regardless of tenure or range.
