About Peptides SA
Peptides SA is an independent reviews and information site covering peptide vendors that ship in South Africa, and the compounds most commonly discussed in that market. We started it because the two things a buyer actually needs — "does this vendor's documentation hold up?" and "what does the science and the regulator actually say about this compound?" — were hard to find answered plainly and in one place.
What we do
- Fetch and read each vendor's own site directly, and score it against the same eight weighted criteria every time.
- Publish compound guides (semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide and others over time) grounded in FDA/EMA-type regulatory documents and peer-reviewed trial data, not marketing copy.
- Say plainly when a claim — ours or a vendor's — couldn't be independently confirmed, rather than smoothing it over.
What we don't do
- We don't accept payment for a ranking position or a score.
- We don't sell peptides, and nothing here is a recommendation to use any peptide outside a registered medicine and a prescription.
- We don't independently lab-test vendors' products ourselves — see how we rate for exactly what our verification does and doesn't cover.

Who writes and verifies these reviews
Every vendor review and compound guide on this site is researched, written and kept up to date by the Peptides SA editorial team directly — not outsourced, not written by any vendor, and not a one-time template with names swapped in. That means fetching each vendor's own site, following every documentation link (lab reports, courier terms, registration numbers) to see whether it actually resolves to something checkable, and re-crawling on a rolling basis to catch changes — the "New" callouts on some reviews mark a later re-check, not the original publish date.
We don't publish individual bylines with names or photos for this content, by choice: the team is small, and we'd rather be judged on whether the documentation trail in each review holds up than on credentials you can't verify either way. What we do put our name to, on every page: the score, every "we could not confirm" caveat, and any correction. If something here is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it and say so.
