Reschem (reschem.co.za (opens in new tab)) sells research peptides alongside nootropics and other research compounds, with the clearest published delivery terms of any vendor we've checked outside LEOLABS — but no named testing lab.
What we verified directly
- Wide catalog. Peptide pens and nasal sprays (NAD+, Glutathione, Semax, Selank), nootropics (Piracetam, Aniracetam, Noopept), antimicrobials and other research compounds. Self-described as offering "the highest quality and widest variety of supplements, nutraceuticals and research compounds available in South Africa."
- Specific delivery terms. "Free 2-3 day courier for orders over R600."
- Payment method disclosed. "We only accept Manual EFT payments."
- Specific (but unnamed) testing methodology. Its /about-us page describes Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) to screen for toxic metals, UV-Vis Spectroscopy to confirm identity and concentration, and HPLC for batch consistency, plus a supplier requirement for cGMP, ISO 9001 and HACCP certification — more specific than a bare "Quality Assurance" reference, but still no lab name or linked COA. A dedicated /pages/quality-control page (found 2026-09-06) adds in-house checks beyond that: solubility analysis, melting-point determination, organoleptic analysis and foreign-materials inspection. Its Halal/Kosher certification, per that page, is scoped specifically to "all our capsules and every ingredient we use" — narrower than a blanket claim.
- Written refund policy, now with full Terms of Service (found 2026-09-06). A 7-day return window (15–20% restocking fee), a 48-hour damage-claim window, and a 30-day window to dispute suspected chemical-spec issues (80% of the product must be returned at the buyer's own expense for testing, per Section 14); refunds processed within 10 business days. Any refund granted outside that formal dispute process is explicitly labeled a "goodwill gesture" only, not an entitlement. Explicitly excludes refunds for "observed or perceived biological effects." Governing law is South Africa (Section 20), current as of 29/07/2026.
- Business address found (2026-09-06). "Perfecta Road, Paarden Eiland, Cape Town, 7405," on /pages/contact — resolves part of our earlier "no address found" gap. A WhatsApp number, 063 780 1968 (08:00–17:00), is also published there.
Where it loses points
- No named testing lab — a "Quality Assurance" page is referenced but doesn't identify who does the testing.
- No registration/VAT number found anywhere on-site, even after a full 2026-09-06 site crawl (privacy policy, terms of service, contact pages all checked).
- EFT-only payment is less flexible than vendors offering card payment too.
- Reschem sells a broader range of research chemicals beyond peptides, which is worth knowing if you're specifically comparison-shopping peptide specialists.

Bottom line
Reschem's delivery terms are refreshingly specific, and its refund policy and testing methodology turn out to be more detailed than we'd first credited — a 2026-09-06 full-site crawl also finally turned up a business address. The absence of any named lab behind that methodology still keeps it below the vendors that name one, but it's now our highest-scoring vendor without a named lab.
