Peptide Labs South Africa (peptidelabs.co.za (opens in new tab)) is the second vendor in our set to name Janoshik as its third-party testing lab — the same lab LEOLABS uses. That single fact is enough to put it ahead of every vendor whose testing claim isn't backed by a named lab, even though its documentation is less complete than LEOLABS's.
What we verified directly
- Named lab. The site states "every batch undergoes independent third-party testing by Janoshik." Unlike LEOLABS, it does not publish per-product task numbers or direct report links on the pages we checked — it states "Certificates of analysis can be provided upon request."
- Specific delivery window, named courier. "Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days, and delivery usually takes 2–5 working days," shipped "discreetly and securely," nationwide — its /contact/ page links an order-tracking portal for The Courier Guy, naming the actual courier for the first time.
- Broad catalog. Seven categories spanning weight-loss peptides (semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide), anti-aging, brain health, hormone support, recovery and energy.
- Contact. Phone/WhatsApp number published: +27 76 471 9902. A second address found 2026-09-06: sales@peptidelabs.co.za.
- Sourcing story disclosed in its blog (new, 2026-09-06). Two blog posts, invisible to our earlier passes, state: "Over the past two years, we travelled to China and personally visited multiple peptide manufacturers" — the first time any vendor in our set has disclosed a sourcing country and a personal-visit narrative. One post is titled "Why a COA Alone Doesn't Guarantee Peptide Quality" and argues a COA is "an important tool, not a guarantee" — an unusual choice for a vendor whose own top documentation claim is naming a lab for on-request COAs; it doesn't name Janoshik in these posts either.
- Full published price list. 14 products with exact prices on /shop/ — e.g. Retatrutide 20mg R1,680, Tirzepatide 15mg R1,350, BPC-157 10mg R800, Semaglutide 20mg R1,200. An eighth catalog category, Tanning, is also visible alongside the seven above.
Naming a lab vs. linking a report: we score "names a real third-party lab" higher than "claims independent testing with nothing published" — but a lab name with COAs available only on request is still a meaningfully weaker documentation trail than LEOLABS's clickable, per-product report links. That gap is reflected in the scores, not just the ranking order.
Where it loses points
- No linked COAs — reports exist only "on request," unverified by us.
- No registration number or business address found — its /shipping-returns/, /refund-policy/, /terms/ and /about/ pages all return HTTP 404, and its /contact/, /usage/ and /introduction/ pages don't carry them either. Even its copyright line just reads "Copyright © 2026 Peptide Labs | Built by CenitWeb" — not even an informal "(Pty) Ltd," confirmed on a 2026-09-06 full-site crawl.
- No refund policy disclosed anywhere we checked.
- Payment method still unconfirmed. Its checkout and cart both render as empty (R0.00) without JavaScript, so no payment gateway is visible to us.
