Buy Peptides SA Review
3.9 / 10Ranked #10 of 13 verified vendors
Buy Peptides SA (buypeptides.co.za (opens in new tab)) is, by its own footer, the same legal entity as another vendor on this list — and it shares a contact number with a third. It's held down mainly by transparency, not by its product or delivery claims.
What we verified directly
- Same entity as Research Peptides SA. Buy Peptides SA's own footer names the business as "Research Peptides South Africa (PTY) LTD" — a direct, first-party confirmation that the two "competing" storefronts are run by the same operator.
- Shared WhatsApp numbers — with two other vendors. Its primary WhatsApp, "+27633643825," is identical to the number SA Peptides shows on its own site. Separately, its FAQ page lists a secondary "bulk order" WhatsApp number, 0609974604 — identical to Research Peptides SA's primary published contact number. Two different overlaps, confirmed 2026-09-06.
- COA claim, with a location added. "Third Part[y] Certificates of Authenticity available as requested updated bi-annually," alongside in-house HPLC testing. The homepage now describes a "German-based test centre" for batch-level testing — a location claim, echoing SA Peptides' Hamburg claim — but still no lab name.
- Shipping & payment. Postnet to Postnet or door-to-door courier; EFT or card via Payflex.
- Registration and VAT number found. Its own /faq/ page states CIPC registration 2019/082063/07 and VAT number 4280285448, tied to "Research Peptides South Africa (Pty) Ltd" — the first registration/VAT details we've found for this vendor.
- Written refund policy. The /faq/ page states "one swop or refund per customer, whichever the client chooses," plus a "no questions asked money back guarantee on all orders" if a customer is dissatisfied with results.
Where it loses points
- Two undisclosed sibling relationships (above) — the largest transparency penalty in our current set.
- Its own FAQ contradicts itself on whether COAs exist at all, and references a "test results tab" that isn't present on live product pages — a direct, self-inflicted documentation problem, not just an absence.
- "Proof of legitimacy" links are four-year-old archive snapshots, not live pages.
- No third-party lab named for its "Certificate of Authenticity" claim — only a location ("German-based test centre").
- No physical branch address found on the pages we checked.

Bottom line
Buy Peptides SA discloses a real CIPC registration and VAT number, and a specific refund policy — genuine progress on business transparency. But two undisclosed sibling relationships, plus a self-contradicting FAQ and stale "proof of legitimacy" links we caught on our 2026-09-06 re-check, pull it down three places from our last pass: the paperwork doesn't hold together on close reading.
