AminoX (aminox.co.za (opens in new tab)) is unusual for explicitly separating its research-peptide catalog from a distinct prescription-product line — a clearer structure than most vendors offer. A 2026-09-06 full-site crawl found a testing-claims page our earlier passes had missed entirely, plus a confirmed payment gateway and a more precise (if less flattering) address — enough new material to move it up from the bottom of our ranking.
What we verified directly
- Testing claims found (new, 2026-09-06) — corrects our earlier pass. A dedicated /pages/research FAQ states: "Do you provide a certificate of analysis (CoA) with your products? Yes... A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is available for each of our products," and "Do You Provide Third-Party HPLC Reports? Yes we do." It also claims cGMP guidelines, USP 797 compliance and an "ISO Class 5" cleanroom facility. As with BioPeptics, no specific lab is named anywhere, and we checked four individual product pages (Semax, NAD+, Thymosin Beta-4, Selank) directly — none of them carry a CoA/HPLC/lab-name mention themselves; the claims live only on this one FAQ-style page.
- Payment gateway confirmed (new, 2026-09-06). The same /pages/research page states: "Currently, we support Card, EFT, Apple and Google pay." This replaces our earlier "Paystack + Bank Deposit, unconfirmed" listing, which we could not verify and are now removing.
- Clear research/prescription separation. The site describes "cutting-edge research peptides and prescription-based solutions" as distinct offerings, with prescription products routed to a dedicated page.
- Research-only disclaimer. States some products are "intended strictly for Research and Development purposes and are not for human or animal consumption."
- Address refined (2026-09-06) — a WeWork co-working address. /policies/terms-of-service gives "Company Address: 80 Strand Street, Wework, Cape Town, 8001, South Africa" — more precise than the city-level address we'd previously found, but a shared co-working space rather than dedicated premises.
- Subscription and pre-order commerce (new, 2026-09-06). /policies/subscription-policy describes recurring-delivery subscriptions (stored payment details, auto-renewal) and pre-orders (partial deposit, stored payment method charged later) — a more built-out commerce stack than most vendors here, though storing payment details for auto-renewal is itself worth being aware of.
- Shipping policy found, at the correct URL. /policies/shipping-policy confirms couriers "including Aramex and others," a flat R150 fee within South Africa, R350 international (with a note that US shipments may incur extra taxes/duties), and delivery within 7 working days if in stock, with tracking numbers emailed on dispatch.
- Written refund policy. /policies/refund-policy covers defects/damage only, must be reported within 14 days of receipt, with refunds processed within 10 business days of approval.
Where it loses points
- No named testing lab, despite the CoA/HPLC/cGMP/ISO-Class-5 claims — the same "detailed but unnamed" pattern as BioPeptics.
- Blends prescription-medicine language with unscheduled research-peptide marketing. The homepage tagline — "Access High Quality Prescription & Research based Peptides... cutting-edge research peptides and prescription-based solutions that empower your health journey" — sits close to the "positioned as medicine" red flag our methodology watches for.
- No registration number found, and its address is a WeWork co-working space rather than a dedicated business premises.

Bottom line
A full site crawl turned up real testing claims (CoA, third-party HPLC, cGMP/ISO Class 5) and a confirmed payment gateway that our earlier, lighter passes had simply missed — a meaningful correction upward. No lab is named, and the address is a shared WeWork space, so it stays in the lower half of our ranking overall.
